RedHat Expert Session on Kubernetes and OpenShift

I’ve attended many webinars but this was by far the most interesting and based on industry use-cases. During this session I’ve learned why we use K8s, Podman and docker, about Openshift, which is better and why. I want to express my gratitude towards LW team for organizing such an interesting oppertunity for us learners.

1) Containers usage for the production deployment in enterprises is still constraints by concerns regarding security, monitoring, data management and network.

2) Some of the key benefits of kubernetes are:
A) Scalability, B) Workload portability and C) Stability Vs speed argument.

3) Challenges of Kubernetes are as follows:
A) Deployment, B) Hardening and C) Operations

4) Virtualization provides the virtual layer on which we can create number of system.

5) Containers are the OS which uses the hardware of base Os.

6) Redhat Openshift is an open source container application platform based on the kubernetes container orchestrator for enterprise application development and deployment.

7) Some big players who use Kubernetes to manage their production environment are:
